These characters center around Maria Flores, a character in the universe who is lost near Austin, Texas, prompting search by victims consisting of Julie, Leland, Connie, Sonny, and Ana. Our first look at these victims comes from the image below which shows them all side by side.
Ismael Vicens, executive producer at Gun Interactive, said two questions were asked when creating these characters: Would people enjoy playing like them, and does it make sense for these people to be a group of friends? The play styles and characters are shaped from those questions with Gun providing the following details about each of the victims.
Julie
“Julie is a Southern California native and fits every part of what that description might bring to mind. The sand, the surf, the sporty lifestyle. But whether her life up to this point has prepared her for the stress and tension of an experience that demands a completely different kind of toughness remains to be seen.” Seeing him. Will her physical abilities be enough to withstand her during an absolute nightmare like no other?”
Leland
“While Leland had wrestled in high school, college life is a long way from high school and the glorious days of wrestling. However, he is the toughest of the bunch, but his strength is lacking elsewhere. We don’t yet know what the unique skills and attributes assigned to these characters will look like, but we at least get an idea of their playing styles from their bios. Gun promised that more information will be revealed soon enough, so soon we hope to hear more about their skills and the family of the killers as well.
